2nd CSSF Members Meeting 2026
Welcome to the CSSF Members Meeting 2026 in Singapore!

The Container Ship Safety Forum (CSSF) will meet for its 2nd annual members meeting in Singapore on 11-12 November 2026, hosted by Pacific International Lines (PIL) at Guoco Midtown.
Wednesday November 11, 2026 14:00 - 14:30 CET
Many of our vessels operate in river ports where tidal variations, strong currents, and continuously changing water depths, particularly during the monsoon season, may not be fully familiar to the Master and crew. The safe execution of these maneuvers therefore relies heavily on the effective support of local pilots, as well as accurate and timely information provided by local agents and operational stakeholders.

Any error in draught calculations, misjudgment of tidal windows, underestimation of tidal stream strength, or inadequate engine performance can have serious operational and safety consequences. These risks demand thorough planning, continuous monitoring, and proactive risk assessment throughout the voyage and maneuvering process.

It is therefore of utmost importance to ensure seamless collaboration among all parties, clear and timely communication of critical information, complete transparency in operational constraints and risks, and the meticulous execution of a well-developed passage plan. Only through effective teamwork, shared situational awareness, and disciplined adherence to established procedures can we ensure the safe conduct of every maneuver, every time.
